BLUETOOTH and OTHER issues...
V710 USERS:
1) As an owner of a 2004 Lexus LX470 and a recently purchase Motorola V710 I have finally had a chance to see how the two integrate with each other. Overall I am impressed, expect for one major issue...
When receiving an incoming call there are no audible alerts whatsoever. A) On the vehicle, the telephone window pops up on the navigation screen, detailing caller information and allows the driver to accept or decline the call. There is however, NO audible alert or ring-tone produced by the vehicle. B) When locked into bluetooth mode, the V710 goes absolutely silent. NO keypad OR ring tones. "Is there anyway to override this "silence" while the phone is in bluetooth mode? AND has anyone else had this same experience with their Lexus or Acura bluetooth vehicle?"

Im having the same trouble with the v710 and the HS820. If i forget the headset is on and i put the headset down... i'll never hear the phone ring. There has to be a way for the phone and the headset to ring when its paired. Please tell me if u figure this out.

The V600 also has this "feature". I don't think there's anything you can do about it. Just like having the call and end buttons reversed unlike every other phone manufacturer. You gotta love Motorola 🙂

I don't have the v710 yet as I am going to use the NE2 with VZW, so I can't answer your questions.
However, I was wondering if you are able to download your contacts list to your Lexus? I have the LS430 with NAV and would like the v710, but so far, I am seeing far to many issues with the bluetooth (thanks alot for nothing, Verizon https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/p_forum.php ?fm=m&ff=475&fi=75440#

Just an FYI, received a response from Moto tech support, no info, but they did read my question regarding bt ft and asked for the mpt version #, hopefully I will get another response by the end of they day.
I had also asked about recording more than 15sec of vid, but they did not address, will let you know when I hear more.
