How to make phone ring not HS820 ?
Is there a way to make the phone ring and not the beep beep beep of the HS820? Mine doesn't ring it beeps (that's normal right?) Also I have tried to research which is better 820 vs 810 and there isn't much info on it... What do u guys think???? Seems cool that u just fold the mic to turn on/off instead of holding the button 5 sec. also anyone try doing a 3 way call w/it? It says u can do it but I haven't tried yet..

Supposedly the HS820 is Bluetooth 1.2, versus the HS810 is Bluetooth 1.1.
Suppposedly, 1.2 has:
- Frequency hopping, which can prevent interference with other 2.4GHz equipment
- Enhanced voice processing, which improves voice connectins and better voice processing for noisy environments
- Faster connections
Still backward compatible with 1.1....

So HS820 would be better right???

Well, it's a newer model, lighter and Bluetooth 1.2. I guess the only reason to buy the 810 would be the folding microphone....and the little voice in the back of our heads that says the 810's higher price means it's better 😁
Mine works awesome. I have a 2.4Ghz cordless and wireless LAN - tried it last night and had no interference problems whatsoever.

That IS SOOOOOOO TRUE, with the Higher price, SOOOO True 🙂...
So if we ALLLLLL get the free BT stuff for reg. our V710 we are going to have to get the speaker, will it fit in cup holder??? Anyone see/use it yet?

It is easy to do. Change the AUTO HANDSFREE setting in CAR SETTINGS section of SETTINGS from ON to OFF. The default is set to automatically route incoming calls to the handsfree device. By changing this setting, the phone rings and there is no sound in the headset. Just press the main button on the HS820 to receive the call on the headset. You can also now leave the HS820 turned on at all times and can answer call from either the v710 or the HS820 -- your choice!
