$20 seems like a good price to me. Has anyone purchased that one? Is there another one I should get instead? I would appreciate any suggestions or comments

I bought one from Best Buy for $15 with a $10 rebate. Rebate expired 7/31 but there may be a new one.

Has anyone tried specificly browsing the transflash card on one of these? I thought you need specific software to transfer files that could be read by the V710.

I got mine today. Works best for me cuz i have a tower @ home but not @ work and I hate lugging my laptop with me. This installs in a 3.5" bay but has a miniature usb2.0 ejectable 7 in 1 reader that is the size of a deck of cards with it's own usb cable inside of it, so i can pop it out and bring it with me anywhere 🙂

The one I got at Best Buy is portable, also comes with a USB 2.0 connector inside and an extension USB cable. It only reads SD & MMC and thus Transflash but my printer reads SmartMedia and CompactFlash. I dont think I need the others. It only cost me $5 after rebate. BestBuy however raised the price back to $19.99 and the rebate which expired has yet to be reinstated.

Just curious if anyones tried to transfer files to a transflash and use it in the phone?
