From 1 to 10???
Hey people,
I'm a interested buyer for this phone the v710, I would like the people who have this phone opinion fro it. Basically a simple 1 through 10.
1 being poor and 10 being outstanding.
An overall number would be perfect.

not to be a smart ass, but it does give you a simple number between 1 and 5, you could just multiply by 2. So far that gives you 8.6. I would say that would have been my impression of the phone, an 8 or so.

Exactly, have that stuff isn't even true. And the one's that are, are very minor and doesn't even matter. And i doubt that this: "inside screen section which has the ear cradle gets very hot...sweaty, gets messy," is even true. What are you thinking QuasiMoto?? 😕

An 8 inch antenna!? 😕 I find that your review is full of crap. Like the external screen going off. (It's too save battery life!) And the battery life is really good, as long as you don't have bluetooth on. And the menus aren't hard to follow and ARE user friendly you just gotta get use to it.

The review was poor at best. Someone needs to get their head out of their arse!!! The camera stinks other than that its a good phone. One wish would be a metal casing, it would make the phone more durable.

QM's cons list was mostly like the reasons that I returned my 710 and went back to a 730, and QM did not even pick on how big the 710 is nor some other phone items I did not like. If you and other folks think it is normal and acceptable to have the outside and inside displays go dark (making them useless then should you need to refer to them), when almost no other phone does that, well, love is blind and your being enamoured with a couple aspects of the phone blinds you from the fact that Motorola did not deliver on this one.
Fortunately for me, now that I have returned the phone, this is my last visit to the site and I do not have to visit the 710 forum again. ...

Not for nothing but i gotta agree with bigack. The ear cradle does not sweat buddy, that was you who made it sweaty. I dunno what you do with your phone but mine's working out just fine. And besides ANY phone will eventually bug your ear if left long enough on it.
I do agree with some of the stuff you mentioned (i.e. antenna is long, limited viewing time) but eventually it'll get work out. No phone is perfect.

quasimoto is WRONG!! It is his opinion but I think he is being very picky. I have this phone and alot of the stuff he said is not true. he sounds like a little kid who is never satisfied! If you expect it to make you breakfast and clean your house....get a maid.
