As this phone is so new and demand is so high, I doubt prices will drop very quickly. They'll be more than happy to make money from the early adopters.
That said, what is the deal with the first 710 promotion? I mean some people have bought them and I can't imagine them having anything resembling a fair distribution across the country. Moto's site doesn't even say you can buy them yet and neither does Verizon, but they are out there. All I know is that I can't get one locally yet, and I'd bet a huge market like NYC or LA would eat up the first 710 before I see them in Michigan.

radio Shack is the only reseller selling them at this point. if you go on www.radioshack.com and do a search for v710 you'll see the option to search availability in your area by zipcode. happy hunting!

we have them here in NY. just not at the VZW stores, but Radio shack has them.

actual on motos website i dont think thjere letting people register until the 11th when its at verizon. because when you click on the promo thing all that comes up is a thing to sign-up to find out when its out.

if they don;t have it, you can order it and they get it really fast. I am in NYC and all the RS pretty much have them already. RS in queens have them too.

what are u talking about? I got it from radio shack and i live in ny. They're currently sold out but they're ordering more as we speak. 🙂

Don't just look at Radio Shack's web site. First, search this board and others to see if anyone else has called your local store(s). This will save frustration, time, and the sanity of the nice people at Radio Shack (yes, I had a good experience). If you can't find any mention, call your local store(s) in the morning, when it's not too busy, and ask them if they have it or if they can get one. If you have a favorite Radio Shack, try them first. If they don't have it, they might be able to get it.
Remember, always be nice, courteous, and smile. You'll get treated better that way at any retail establishment.
