I'm such in a happy f-cking mood that I'll try to help ya!

First I used Ringtone Ripper to "convert" the song I want as a ringtone. Good software, easy to use.

Then, I sent to to (mynumber)@vzwpix.com as an attachment from my MSN E-mail address.

Few seconds later, my phone received it. I opened the message and saved the sound on the phones memory, then I applied it as a ringtone.

Looking for a specific ringtone? If ya want I could try sending you one of mine to test.

YES I DO have one actually and thats awesome that you can do this. If you would PLEASE ill give you this short .mid file i want on my phone and if yo ucould send it to me PLEASE. I'm still nto able to do what you suggested for some reason so PLEASe help me out. You can message me or one way or another give me your email address thanks alot.

I keep sending the file and its comming to my phone as a text message. I dont know what i am doing wrong but its not comming with as a mp3 file and im doing it the way you said to

When the ripper saves on your HD it is an *.mp3 file. Simply change from *.mp3 to *.mid and then e-mail to your phone and it will show *.mp3 on your phone. i.e.:
song.mp3 change it to song.mid... just rename the extension.

For some reason when i do all this then email it to my#@vzwpix.com my phone doesnt recieve any type of message, or does it take a certain amount of time? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Do u subscribe to mobile web? When downloading mp3's you need mobileweb, not just txt msg

You don't need mobile web. I do not have mobile web activated on my phone since I'm going to return it on the 11th and get it from Verizon.

The E-mail should take just a few seconds to get to your phone

How come u r returning it? Can't u just have Verizon put the new program ver. in? L E T M E K N O W, RS is an Official dealer?

Don't get me wrong, I love the phone!

But, I'm returning it because:
-I paid Radio Shack's full retail price, $519. I've heard, read, and seen PDF file that indicate Verizon is going to have the full retail price at $419. That's $100 less! That's a Bluetooth headset right there.

I think that if you purchased the phone at promotional Price from RadioShack, then your fine. No reason to return it, but I paid full retail Price.

That's the only reason I'm returning it 🙂

the phone cost $519 @ radio shack if ur not available 4 an upgrade otherwise it's $319 with a $70 rebate but if u have NE2 it's best 2 get it @ verizon

Yeah, I'm only about 6 month into my 2 year contract, so I'm getting it a full retail price, whether it's from Verizon or RadioShack 😕

Buddy can you email me or put me on your MSN buddy list, I downloaded that program and couldn't send them. I would LOVE to do this. I have gone to that sight (GREAT) that someone posted and have been getting my ring tones there but I have soooo many MP3's that I would LOVE to do them myself....

I understand how you got the mp3 tones on your phone using ringtone ripper, but my question is this: Did you read anything in the agreement about third parties, i.e., phone solicitors since you have to give them your phone number? I dont think this has been asked, but I could be wrong. Thanks

I didn't, at any point, enter my phone number or any other information!

All I did was download the program.

I only use Ringtone Ripper to "convert" my songs, but use my own E-mail address to send them to myself at (MyNumber)@vzwpix.com

The converted file is saved on in your C drive, so all you have to do is locate it 😉

GTAWYDRVR, what's so special about Ringtone Ripper as opposed to any other program that can convert CDs to MP3s?

Well, the thing I like about Ringtone Ripper is it's simplicity.

It's a small program that's very easy to use.

There are certainly other programs out there that will get the job done just as good, but it might be to complicated in some people's opinion.

I've read some people use two separate programs. One for cutting the mp3 done to a desired length and another program to convert the format or change the bitrate.

That's it, nothing special. Just simple.

Yes, that is the case. It's made for the Motorola V600, but as you can see in my pics, it fits the Motorola V710 well.

what good is that, moto has a case coming out with a clear window in the leather so you could see the external display.

I had the clear plastic, it looks so cheesy. It's about PREFRENCE.

Some people like Verizon type cases, others prefer pouches like mine.

P.S. I've seen the PDFs where the case is shown.
