Speakerphone problems on the other end?

I searched the existing speakerphone threads and couldn't find anything on this issue. The speakerphone sounds great to me, but everyone I've talked to on the other end always says that it sounds as though the phone is breaking up when I use it. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it just my phone, or am I going to have to go shell out some $$ for the HF 800 to have a decent speakerphone?

I don't know why they didn't design this phone's speakerphone to work as well as the NEXTEL Iden series phones.

I think it only happens in noisy environments. Which is kind of understandable.

I just had the same problem a minute ago. I was talking to my friend and she kept saying that I was breaking up. I heard her just fine. I was sitting right here in the comp room (not noisy at all). Thought it might be the signal (my parent's house goes on and off with signal) but i had full service. It was weird cuz up till now no one had complained about it & I've been using it for 3 days.

we'll see what happens...

I think I was having feedback problems. I turned the speaker down to about a 2, and that seemed to get rid of the problem.
