Much better then my motorola 720.

The v710!! It has much more features and looks better. The vx8000's only advantage is the great camera... But it's a phone, so go with the v710 and if you want great pictures i suggest just buying a digital camera! 😁

(plus the v710 has transflash!)

I am actually in the same position you are in. It basically comes down to what you need in a phone. The 8000 doesn't have bluetooth capability or the Voice Recognition that the 710 has, but will sport the Ev-Do network and dual 260K displays. Everything else is pretty much the same. Compare the two with the phonescoop compare option to see for yourself. If you decide to go with the 8000 though, I'll worn you, it's not due to be released until at the earliest mid-September and possibly not until Christmas.

see I like the way menu's on the lg are..

they are so much better then motorola's..

and just the thought of giving up the blue lighted keypads for motorola's white/grey light urks me !!

over all i think lg 8000 would be more of a "user friendly" phone..

but 710 with build in sd slot and a better speaker phone i think would be a better choice..

just hate giving up the nice lg menu stylings.
