Does anyone know if the v710 is able 2 connect 2 a laptop? Has any one tried it?

Yes, I was able to pair the v710 to my laptop using a belkin usb bluetooth adapter (F8T001 v.2). The only caveat is, currently, the v710 does not possess OBEX drivers which allows you to push files to the phone. So, even though the pairing is successful...about the only thing you can do with the connection is use the phone for a mobile modem. There have been others on this board that have posted suggestions/rumors that when VZW releases their v710's, there will be a software update that might fix this issue.
