How do I change the External Display background?
Hi, I've noticed that some of you that own the V710's that have shown pictures on this Forum have different backgrounds on your External Screens. How do you change that? I can't find the option in the phone or the directions. Please explain if you know. Thanx.

Menu, Tools, Personalize, Color Style, then choose a color and the front screen will change..... that will be $2.00 Please 🙂

Thanks, I did that though and only my color theme changes for the internal Screen. Doesn't affect my External one at all. Am I missing an opiton in my phone?

Talk about lazy. If you read the post about 10 lines down titled "another external screen question", you would see the answer to that question. Your external screen does change to match the theme you selected. You can't choose your own however such as pics, etc...

Well thanx I'll keep playing around with it. I did read that post but I didn't quite understand.

You have to close the phone after you select a different color style before it will change.

im just curious.... what are the different color styles that they have? i have seen the blue one and the purplish one.... which other ones are there??

Silver
Midnight (purple)
Jade
Tangy (more reddish than imac tangerine)
Solar (don't use if you hate yellow)
Midnight is my personal fav. But dang those outer wallpapers are hideous. Why can't we just have it plain white, so the text doesn't have to have that awful early-mac "outline" font-look to it. Dang near impossible to read.
