FIXED CAMERA PROBLEMS

ok i was playing with the camera and finally made the pictures look the way they should. First, when in camera mode go to menu and picture setup. Change the resolution from medium (what it's preset at) to high. Also, the lighting conditions is set to auto, but auto doesnt work so well so if indoors, change it to indoors, and if nightime, change it to night. once you do this, the pictures look great! much better than the v600 or the vx6000.

I did see those. I just wanted to compare to see if these were medium or high quality. I recall someone posting picture from the 8000 and they were really sharp...and these are not as sharp. Just curious if they were taken in the default setting.

I think it's mainly cuz the vx8000 has a CCD sensor. And the v710 has a CMOS. But it doesn't really matter, cuz, afterall it is a phone. 😁 (but it's still really good for a cell phone)

Changing the Camera settings does not make a difference with the indoor picture quality. Maybe a lil bit, but nothing major. It still comes out very poor. Like I've said earlier on here I have the V600 and that has the same setting options for the camera. (night, indoor office, indoor home, and etc modes) On that phone it actually does make a huge difference when you are in different lighting environments. But on the V710 it will only help unless you are outside I've noticed or in a well lit dept Store. I was fooled when I was in Radio Shack playing with the Camera. When I got home the truth revealed it's self. My V600 still is the better camera. It's literately a difference of night and day. Which I don't understand at all being the...

Read the back of your receipt and stop asking people who have no clue. The back of the receipt states:

In addition a defective item may be repaired or replaced within 90 days of purchase under RadioShack's Warranty Policy, or within the manufacturer's warranty period, wichever is longer. See the Warranty Policy below for more information.

Merchandise must be returned in like-new condition (except for damage caused by any product defect) with the original packaging materials (including the barcode/UPC l...

The answer wasn't meant at you. It is weird when someone has the receipt in front of them yet they are asking other people what they should olready know. 🙂
