I really dont get it. Look at each link. People said that you cant change the background, but the colors for the background. These backgrounds are different...

When you change the color mode, it changes the graphic on the external screen. You can't control separately.

Yeah you can change the backgrounds but they only change when you change the color style (color that highlights all the menus). You cannot however place your own image as a background. Also each background can only be used with its corresponding color from the color style (which sucks cuz the silver is a cool menu color but the background for the bright colors are better than circles for silver).
I guess all we can do is hope the new software fixes it.
