What Motorola/Verizon is doing...
I see what's going on now.
They are only allowing people to buy the phone online that are signing up for a two year contract, that way, people that planned on upgrading or buying the phone outright cannot sign up for the free bluetooth device.
I just got off the phone with Verizon and they said it's only oderable when you sign up for a two year contract and that it will be orderable to everyone else on the 11th.
I don't know what everyone is screaming about for on the 9th.
NOTE: When you go through the process of signing up for the 2 year plan to get your phone, it says to plan to wait up to 10 days to receive your phone!

EXACTLY so you are just ordering it you are better off just drooling on the motorola website and looking at the phone because by the time they PHYSICALLY have the phone in their hand the VERIZON customers who have been waiting for ages will be at their store on the 11st taking vzw entire inventory and depleting it to 0 and we will have the phone in our hand in 7 days so 7

Verizon should be ashamed of themselves!
They have delayed and delayed the release of this phone. Now it is released online, but only to new customers. Shouldn't they give their loyal customer base an equal opportunity to have this phone. Further, their on-line website is failing (presumably under the demand for this phone) and their customer service people are largely clueless regarding what is happening.
