trust me i called 1-866-buy-moto and they told me that the regestering has stopped cause all 710 people have regestered.

I called and they told me it was an error, and the site shouldn't have been up because the phone had not been released in all markets yet.

Thats the dumbest thing I have heard. No company stops letting customers register their purchased products. It is possible that 710 people have registered...but they would still let other people register. How do you think they keep track of products, demographics and other marketing informating?

I think we should write a petition to Motorola about this, according to what I found out from calling them and other people posting on this site, they were not supp to open the reg till the 11th..when its officially launched at Verizon. I think they got too many calls from people that purchased a phone from radioshack.

I registered for the free bluetooth headset, but I don't see how the 710 could have been given away in 3 minutes. If only a few select stores in each state received 2 phones, then 710 phones have not been sold.

RS has over 7000 store in America. If even half of them got a couple phones in one shipment then some more a few days later, how many phones do you think RS sold?

still not everyone knew about this promotion or was at their computer to get the email and register within the few hours. i think that whoever was able to register and got the 2-4 weeks email will recieve the bt accessory. if you didnt get that, than your out of luck

When I called motorola, the woman specifically told me that the first 710 were registered 2 minutes and 48 seconds after the email was sent out (at 1:44 PM).
