LET'S MAKE SURE WE ALL HAVE THE SAME S/W VERSION...
anyone who has the phone go to the menu then go to phone info, then go to other information, then go to s/w version and post what it says. i want to see if all the phones released from radio shack had the same version. mine is 8700_01.30.8F

I just got mine from RS today about 3 hours ago since they just shipped it and I pre-ordered. The s/w version is 8700_01.30.8G.. with a G at the end not F. They just delivered it earlier today and picked it up a few hours ago after work.

Nice PLEASE check for errors that people have been complaining about and get back to us to see if they are fixed. the lighting issues. picture caller ID ect...

On HOFO it said the H version will have the bluetooth fixes....

Let's hope that the bluetooth bug is the only reason why the software is updated.

The post you responded to has the software version in it! 8700_01.30.8F (S/W means software if that's what your asking.)

I called the VW store in King of Prussia PA, and talk to the person there he just unloaded 20 of them, I asked him to open one and check the software version and it is the same as the one I got from radio shack. Ending in.F Unless Verizon is going to "flash" them this week and they are giving them selfs time till the 11th it is the same phone.

that interesting. so that means all those people who posted that they "KNEW" that the vzw phones had a newer s/w version were just lying as usual.
