Is 8/11 still official

Is august 11 still the official date for vzw to start selling this phone? Any place to read an official statement that vzw will start selling the phone on 8/11, OR IS 8/11 JUST A RUMOR?

That's what the internal Verizon paper work said thats been going around on phonescoop, but my verizon store here in Houston swears it's the 15th. ☹️
