Enough with the extras, how does it do as a real phone?
Ok, so some are complaining about the extras, how does it do as JUST a cell phone. Reception, sound, clarity...?

Reception is wonderful. At my work, with my T720, i never had reception due to the construction of the building. With the v710, I have service. The ringers are very loud. They are louder than any other motorola phone out there that was offered by VZW. The clarity of the call is fine, the volume isn't as loud as it sould be, but it's doable. The menu is similar to the T720/T730.

Do you still have the T720? If so could you please check if it's the same antenna on the V710? They look about the same.

Nope the v710's is shorter than the T720's and it is a bit smaller at the end of the v710's therefore the T720's doesn't even fit in the v710's. Hope that helped.
