It comes with a nice carrying case that doubles as the clip to attach to your visor, and a travel charger (same one the v710 comes with).

What is the use for this if the phone itself has a pretty decent speakerphone?
Is this think that much better, or more functional?
Does anyone HAVE the Bluetooth speakerphone? And if so, can you use it with the phone closed?
Perhaps that is why Verizon PURPOSELY crippled the v710's speakerphone so it does not work then closed unlike Motorola's V400, and V600 phones.
Someone who has the Bluetooth speakerphone please shed some light on this. Thanks.

As for the lanyard use. Lets say I was doing some housework, yardwork or whatever and didn't want to carry the phone (obviously closed in this case). As long as I stay 33 feet from the phone and use the speaker, I could make any calls or take any calls using the speaker. I could leave the phone in the kitchen and be outside pruning the rose bushes.
Of course I meant "stay WITHIN 33 feet of the phone".
