Screen Burn-in

Does anyone notice that when you open the phone there is are two lines in the upper left corner in black lettering:

Verizon Wireless
8/16/2004

But if you hit one of the numbers, (as if you are starting to dial a number) the two lines turn white/gray but you can still see them slightly against the white background. Is this a form of temporary burn in of the screen, or did motorla pick an off white color for the "Verizon Wireless 8/16/2004" to change too, which against the white background gives the appearance of "burn in"?

Thanks!

It seems that way but it also does it with the photo wallpaper when you go to the menu. It looks like they are making it opaque on purpose for an effect. I don't think we have anything to worry about.

If you hold the phone at an angle, no matter what menu or mode you're in, you'll see the wallpaper. Straight on, it looks like a temporary "burn." I'm not sure why Motorola designed it this way, but there's nothing wrong with your phone. 😎
