Can someone please help me understand the advantages to having mobile phone tools 2.0??? I do not understand what it is capable of doing

Is it necessary to have both the transflash card and the phone tools. Someone please help me understand lol ...

Okay, in theory Mobile PhoneTools is suppose to allow you to transwer ringtones and pictures to and from your phone. Also, you can also use it to connect to the internet using your phone as a modem. Also, it's suppose to allow you to transfer your contacts or phonebook onto and off of your phone. Unfortunately the current version of MPT (2.21f) doesn't support the V710 yet with all those features.

So, to take care of the ringtones and pictures aspect of this, people buy the transflash. You do not need MPT to use the transflash card. A few weeks down the line Motorola should release a new version of MPT that will allow one to do all the things described above using a USB data cable. alright big bull i appreciate it. so would you say it pays off to have mobile phone tools or will the transflash suit my needs better.

You seem like you know alot about this phone and all this crap. Do you got an AIM screen name so I can ask you stuff when im confused because im not cellularly advanced as most people
