All I can figure is make sure that

Main Menu>Settings>Connection>Incoming Call>Next Call

is set to normal. If somehow you changed that to Data In Only or Fax In Only, I could see you having problems. If that is set OK, then I'd just head to the Verizon Store or call Customer Service and see what they say.

There is something else you may want to check out:

Menu -> Settings -> Security -> Restrict Calls

Make sure your INCOMING CALLS are set to "ALL" allowed.

If you restrict your incoming calls - the ones not allowed through will go directly to voice mail.

I'd be shocked it you somehow managed to turn this on without realizing it, as you have to enter your unlock code and everything just to access it.

Also - you may want to consider the simple possibility that you had poor reception at the time the calls went directly to VM - and didn't ring through.
