Motorola V710

"Unable to charge" message

I am getting the "unable to charge" message when I use the car charger with the v710. Does anyone know what the problem might me? Is my charger perhaps not compatible? It's the one I used with the v60. Thanks!

i had this problem with the home/travel charger when i first got my v710. it turns out that i had to press my battery in a little further.

I was getting the same message and took the charger I originally purchased with the phone back. I exchanged it for one that stated it was compatible with the V710 on the back of the package. Porblem solved. Verizon/Moto part number is MOTP3KVPC.
