What is the default unlock code?
I want to activate the security on the phone but I can not figure the default code. The book says that it is 1234 but that does not work. Please help.

I just figured it out. This may be useful for others. Verizon actually changed the defult password. Mine was the last four digits of my phone number. It might be that for your phone if 1234 does not work.

That's right! That's what mine was too (not the 0000 as I suggested).

The Verizon "Getting Started" booklet, clearly states that your unlock code is the last four digits of your mobile number.
