Hey guys whats up have been reading on this board for a while now. I know how people get pissed off with the same questions are asked. I actually did a search for this and 58 pages poped up so I need to ask.

I got the phone 2 days ago. I was wondering before you take a picture does the inside screen flicker. Also after the picture has been taken and you have the option of saving or deleted the pic does that preview picture look like ****. I noticed if I save the picture than view it later it looks much better. Just want to know if anyone else is having this issue. Like the phone so far but only have it for 2 days.

Thanks

I had the phone for 3 days and had the same problem as well as a loose case. I figured it was interference from the phone or a bug so i took mine back. I haven't given up on the phone yet but would have preferred a metal face plate.

I haven't had that problem... Do you think it could be the light getting brighter before you take the pciture? I know mine does that and it looks like a flicker, but I realized it was the light/flash getting brighter...

I don't think it's the light. It flickers like a TV with bad reception. I hope this is not only my phone.

Aloha! I have that same problem, jus the way you described it. Called Motorola, said it was a defect. I got it replaced. Same thing. The picture was okay in lit areas, but you take a pic at night, terrible! Night mode, high resolution, not even the light helped. "Aww, dis no can" is what I told myself. My Motorola V600 from ATT take way, I tell you, way better pictures day or night without all the flickering or fuzzying or pixel distortion. Called Motorola again and this time they are gonna look into it and let me know wassup. By the way, the bluetooth feature supports wireless headsets and dialup networking, no file or image push. I jus glad I not the only one with dis problem. I'll post again when I hear what Motorola says about the proble...

I have the same problem. Lots of flicker, distortion, and snow on the picture and screen in low to medium light situations. Unusable at night for me which is when I would need it most. I guess this is normal though for all v710's. Please correct me if I am mistaken so I can exchange my phone if it is a defect.

Someone posted about a day or so ago that the internal processor in the 710 cannot handle the megapixel camera. Moto will probably have to re-release an updated phone. Who knows.

If they do this what happens to those who already have the phone?

My phone does the same thing. If I hadn't heard about it over and over again in this forum, i would SWEAR I got a defect. BTW, the 710 in the VZW store where I just bought my wife's new phone (vx7000 btw) did the exact same thing.

I'm convinced it is a design flaw. I'm also convinced that Motorola will continue to deny it until the release a new phone or firmware upgrade (if such a thing is even possible) - just like they denied problems with the battery life on the T720 until the T730 came out.

I'm not even a camera-phone fan, but this camera REALLY annoys me at how bad it is. Motorola should be ashamed of themselves.

I'm guessing all the phones are doing this. I went to 2 different Verizon stores and both floor models were doing this. I read here that it could be only indoors because of a lighting issue. So I took some pics outside and it looked much better and no flickering so I think thats the problem no lighting. MOTO should fix this but we will never know. Overall the phone is great never bought this phone for the camera but it would be nice if it worked well.

Peace
