I've read tons of MP3-Midi posts, please give some help...
I have a clip thats 235 KB. It was an mp3 that was cut down and I renamed it to a ".mid" then sent it to [email protected]. When I open the message, it has the file but with the extension ".txt" instead of ".mid". I can't find on this forum or HoFo how to fix this, so I made a thread. It'd be much appreciated if someone would lend a hand.

Basic question: Are you sure you have picture messaging activated on your account? Also, are you using vzwpix or your personal email?

I have picture messaging, and I am using my personal email to send it from my computer to my phone. Could that be a problem?

When I used my personal email with a file that size it didn't work since yahoo sent all of its junk along with the file. Try using the vzw site to do it and see what happens. I saved my file to my desktop and attached it through the vzw site as a song (midi file) and it works fine. Make sure you enter your number only and not the @vzwpix.com extension.
