Wow!!!!!!
I just got my phone yesterday, and wow! Im so surprised that half of the message board users are so critical.
Before I got the phone, I heard great things about it from people in real life. and the opposite from half the people on this forum.
BOTTOM LINE:
the phone is awesome...and this is coming from a picky, slightly anal person 😉
the screen is nice, clear and large
the external display is almost as good as the t720 main screen(what the hell did you expect..Im totally satisfied)
the camera works totally fine...nothing wrong with it. it works just as good as any camera phone out there and has a nice clear display to look through on the main screen.
The keypad has no problems in my opinion. I think it looks great in...

I agree completely. Most of you people who are bashing this phone expect it to do miracles. It's not a personal assitant, it's a phone. Given it's size, I say it's a step away from making coffee for you for breakfast.

Why do you want the outside screen light to stay on to see the time? YOu want the battery to die... Dont all color phones shut down in the front?

come to think of it, probably all external color phones DO shut down in the front...Im not sure. and I wasnt complaining about it but it is convenient to glance and check the time...but I guess I could use my $2000 tag heuer watch to do that 😁

Without getting into too much detail, having had this phone almost a week now (and planning on keeping it), I can't blame those who are bashing the phone. For the money, and the hype, and the false claims, many feel cheated. For example:
- The camera on this phone STINKS. And this comes from someone who doesn't even care about the camera and didn't buy the phone for the camera. BUT I'm sure I paid for it in the price, and its insulting to me for Motorola to claim a 1.2 MP camera when in reality the photos on my wife's VX7000 ON ITS LOWEST RESOLUTION are about 5x as good. and this is not a 'relative comparison' the photos plain stink!
