OK all,
I'm a newbie, so be nice. . 😁
Just got the 710 - pretty happy with it. Looking for a BT Headphone - is the Jabra worth the additional $$? What does it offer that the one from Moto doesn't?
Thanks!

the jabra feels more comfortable doesnt cover up the ear as much the jabra w/ the additional earbud makes it go farther into the ear canal. i have used the jabra 200 and have made it last 2 days w/ the 710 plus it feels like its not even there!

I can't help you with a comparison - b/c I never used the Moto headsets.
I can tell you that my Jabra 250 came in the mail yesterday - and it's amazing.
SO comfortable, paired in a second and had no set-up issues whatsoever, is loud and clear, and people seem to hear me quite well.
It's also black, not very "in your face" - and doesn't' make you look too bad (dorky)
I love it and am very happy with the Jabra 250.

OK all,
I ordered what I though was the 250 - when I got it was the 200 - it says for non-Bluetooth phones - and has the Bluetooth Symbol on the Box - help me here - you guys are better, and less frustrating than reading the manual - is this one wireless? What am I missing about their marketing or packaging?
THANKS IN ADVANCE!

The 200 is for non BT phone and the 250 is cheaper and for BT phones like the V710
...
can the 200 work with bt phones also?

yep, but why pay more money for extra equip you don't need. but, you can pair w/BT phones.

I got a pretty decent price - and they did not have the 250. It was from Verizonwireless web site for companies that get employee discounts - it was just under $100.
If I got ripped, lmk - and I'll ship it back.

I use the 250 and it works great. I mainly use this when I'm in my car driving. Great fit, comfy, easy to use. I did buy the HS810 first but that thing is just crap. Well for my ear anyway. It wouldn't stay on my ear. Too lose.
I got the 250 for $99 but i see online you can get it for $10 cheaper with free shipping.

I have used the BT250 with my previous KYOCERA7135. Now I use it with my V710.
I am glad that I have listened to the support people at JABRA. They walked me to the pairing process.
Pairing was a piece of cake.
Additional advantage is that I can charge it through the earpiece cradle. Communication transition is seamless between my car's Uconnect from to the Jabra BT250.
P.S.
😎
Hope that helps too...

The 250 also has much better battery life than the 200, or just about any other BT headset out there.
My only problem with it and all other headsets except for the 810, is that it stays in standbye mode and so the phone won't ring when its on. I like how the 810 will connect almost instantly when you turn it on by flipping it open, so you can still hear the phone ring and don't have to wear the headset all the time.

Another thing to note between the moto and the jabra headsets. The Jabra goes inside the ear, while the moto sits on the outside of the ear canal. I have tried both and each has its advantages. If you want a headset that has a very long battery life and has an excellent volume boost for noisy situations, I'd go with the Jabra - the inconvience of standby mode is trumped by the excellent volume level and battery life.
Oh yes, there is another annoyance - with the Jabra, you have yet another charger to carry around (although you won't need it much due to battery life being great). With the moto headset, you can use the same charger as the phone.
Hope that helps.

There has to be a hack or something to make the phone ring with the jabra 250

The 200 is for non-Bluetooth enabled phones (has belt adapter for phone). The 250 is for Bluetooth phones with BT built in.
...
OK - I got, and decided to keep the 200. Now, I'm totally stupid. I turn on the 200, and then I turn on the 710 - and it finds the BT connection - but, I can't get it to work - and neither of the "instruction books" are very useful.
HELP!
THANKS!
