Custom Ringer ID Problem (bigack?)

MasterShake

Aug 18, 2004, 2:32 PM
I've seen this come up before, but nobody has posted any solutions yet. Are those of you that are transferring these ringers to your phones using them as ringer ID's or just as standard ringers?

If I go to the audio menu, I can play them just fine. When I assign them as ringer ID, they do not play (when people call, my phone is silent).

Any ideas? Do they actually need to be converted to midi (not just extension change) do be used in this way? I'm Stuck.

Thanks
-T

I've been able to do this with out a problem. I goto walmart.com and download there sample clips of songs.
I do the the change of .mp3 to .mid before sending. I also make the name of the file as short as I can. no spaces change like "black eyed peas" to "bep" make sure that it is not more then 8 charters I'm not sure what the real cut is but this seems to be a good rule of thumb.
thanks
Rob
