I just got a transflash card and everything works great except I can't figure out how to put movie clips from my computer onto my phone. Could anyone walk me through this? Do I need to convert things to a certain format? If so, how do I do this thanks. As of now any of hte clips I have transferred have not shown up on the phone.

the video format is mpeg4, or 3GPP2. I can't get it to play on my comp with QT 6.5.1 yet; let alone sending it back to the phone.

See this link for more info.

yeah I downloaded some mpeg4(.mp4) video samples a long time ago and found them on my computer. then just transfered it over. the only file that played war encoded at 96Kbs the other higher bit-rates just played sound. I don't know how to encode them yet.

Download a program called Nokia Multimedia Converter 2.0. It converts most known movie file types to 3GPP and they will play perfectly on the phone. The best thing is that it makes the video files very small. I put an entire episode of South Park on my phone and it was only like 7 megabytes in the end. Any questions just let me know.

I know that subject will get this post a lot of reads.

Ok, it was the only mpeg I could find to test the software 🙂 . The Spiderman trailer was digitally protected, I think, I got some error. So, I had some porn mpeg that was originally about 16mb. I converted it using the Nokia software and now its 1.2mb and plays great on my phone off the tf card. 3gp format, not 3g2. Too bad I have to be discreet on who I show off the cool capablities too.

Its got to be converted to .3g2 or .3gp either with Quicktime Pro, I beleive or with Nokia per 2nd post in this thread.

Anyone know easy free way to convert real media (rm) to mpg?
