Will I be able to?
I got a phone that has a keypad that shifts and it seems like its a little loose around the bottom too.
I bought it the last day of July I believe, would I be able to go to the RS i bought it at and exchange it?
And would I be able to transfer the files and such to the new phone? (Like my ringtones, pictures, phonebook, etc.)

Your keypad is fine, exchanging it will do nothing for you but waste time and lose files.
Trust me, I've had dozens of these pass under my nose.
The keypad is just an embossed plastic sheet that lays on top of a mylar dome assembly. It does not attach to anything. The cutout of the gray frame holds it in place. Keep your phone and enjoy it. 🙂

New keypads on the way as well as speakers. Current stock doesn't have them. I will have them for replacement by 8/23. 😎

I do it all in our authorized Moto cellular shop and it is covered under your warranty. 😁

No, you will need to go to an authorized Moto level 2 or 3 shop to have that done. If you are in the NYC area we do that on site.

I'm in Massachusetts...where would I find these types of shops? Like the Verizon store or just an authorized Motorola store?

It's hit or miss with VZW stores... go to Moto's website and look for shops, then call them. Let me know how you do.
