I look at myself in the mirror and i just see this huge thing sticking out of my ear.. it looks huge to me.. What about the Jabra250. i've seen pics but how does it look on a person. does it look like a monster? Is it comfy? Does it go into standby mode like the HS820. and turn off and turn on the same way with that 3-5 second wait?? Please help

I don't have the hs820 - so I can't make the comparison for you.

BUT - I did receive my Jabra 250 2 days ago - and I absolutely LOVE it.

I'm definitely not the type of person who feels comfortable walking around looking like a freakin' Star Trek geek.... I'm VERY concerned about looking "presentable" - I deal with people all the time who will not work with me if I look like a freakin' nerd.

This headset is not bad at all. Sure - you can see you have something on your ear - but barely... it's really not that big - and it's black - so it doesn't seem very "in your face".

I love my Jabra 250. I tried the 820, after a while, it becomes uncomfortable and you look somewhat silly wearing it after the "cool" effect wears off.

I can't wait till the Jabra BT500 comes out, I upgrade.

I'm curious what the 800 looks like - it has a display, etc. (!).

Now that I think about it, since my HS800 broke and I'm back to using the BT200, I wonder why can't Jabra create a simple pressure switch that turns the headset on when it's on your ear and off when you take it off? I'd think it wouldn't be too hard to create something like that. Then when you take the headset off it automatically turns off, and the phone disconnects, allowing standard rings.

Not sure if this will help but why not try the hs810 whcih is a little smaller and seems much more a ttractive than eaither of the 2 you have listed.
