What's the point of having "Camera" or "Recent Calls" as "Voice Commands"?????
for instance... when I first saw "CAMERA" was a voice command - I thought "COOL!!!! you can your phone on speakerphone.... place it across the room- and then say out loud: "CAMERA" and take a picture of yourself (and hopefully your hot date) - almost like an "auto-timer"" But - NO .... you can't do that.
You can turn ON the camera... but then you have to hit the "Capture" button manually - right? so - what's the point?
Why would you turn on the camera with a voice command if you're not going to be able to use it remotely?
If it's to make things "easier" - that makes no sense - the camera can be turned on by pr...

And what would be even better would be if a voice-command took the picture - so you wouldn't even need the bluetooth headset.
How could they have forgotten this if they made "Camera" an voice-command. Didn't somebody on the design team say "Hey - what the heck are we putting that in the menu for if they can't take picture without picking up the phone anyway"?

if you go to the phone book - contacts - and scroll down the names you will hear the phone try to pronounce the names there -- maybe you can mispell the names to get a better sounding name
I thought something like that, but my phone doesn't pronounce anything, both with or without speaker on. Am I missing something? Any parameter buried in one of the menus?

turn key volume up.
🙄 Funny, really funny.
Now, how about some REAL advice?
OK, catstide.
I open my phone, go to contacts, highlight a name... and nothing happens.
The volume is 7/7: what am I missing?
Menu->Settings->Personalize -> Sound Settings
and then select "Voice" for the "Phonebook" setting.
***** YOU MUST HAVE YOUR KEYPAD VOLUME TURNED UP. Not your ringervolume, and not your handset volume --- YOUR KEYPAD VOLUME.
this can be found in the Ringer Settings for whatever profile your phone is currnently using for it's ringer.
