Anyone find light sensor for keypad?? I think I found it...
Did you realize the keypad light only comes on when it's dark outside... so it saves battery power. At first... I thought i found the sensor to be under the left rubber 'bumper' near the * key. Everytime I held my finger on top of it and then hit a key (easiest to hit 'end call')... the keypad light would go on. Otherwise, it would stay off.
However, then I tried holding the phone under a bright light... and even covering the same spot... the backlight did not go on. But if I covered up the lower left area of the keypad... it went on. So it's in that area... maybe underneath somewhere.
Now if they were only smart enough to have used a similar sensor for the camera light. Oh well.
