Will there be limitations that the USB (w/PT) and TF will still be needed?
In other words, what are the chances that if we wait for any BT upgrade (2 weeks?) that we can save the money from TF and USB purchases?

I suggest buying a TransFlash card, regardless. The phone only comes with about 10mb; 25% of which is already used. If you plan on having photos and sound files (and especially video), the Transflash is worthwile anyways.

True about the TF Card, however, MPT is also necessary if only to backup your contact list. If you need to replace your phone do to defect or accident, or you get your Firmware flashed, all your data may be erased.
I am new to this board and my phone. I like it so far.
I understand waiting for v. 3 of the Mobile Phone Tools, but, what should I do in the meantime to get my phone numbers from my computer to the phone, or from my old phone (Nokia 3650) to my new V710? Unfortunately, the two phones see each other's bluetooth, but will not connect.
Thanks,
