Personal Ringers from trasnflash
I just got the 128MB transflash and transfer over some mp3 to it. I'm able to copy them to the phones memory, play them as a sound file and primary ringer but when I try to assign them to a persons ringer in the contacts they don't show up in the list. What do I need to do so that I can asign them to a personal contact? Thanks, Scott

Okay well I figured out a way to do it but it would be nice if there was an easier way. What I did is apply the mp3 as a ring tone and it made it the primary ring tone for the phone (hey that rhymed) anyways if you have a lot of sounds you want to assign to a ringing tone you have to do them all individually with this method. It would be nice if you could select them all and then copy them as ring tones. Anyone have any incite on this?

😁 The only way I can get the ring tones to work is by storing them in the phones memory. They are in the format of .mid but that should not make a difference or should it?
I am confused about what you said about changing them to primary ring tones. Doesn't the ring tones have to be installed the main phone memory?

Well I did copy it from the transflash to the phone but they only way I could get it to show up when I tried to asign as to a personal ringer is to make it a primary ringer 1st then it showed up after that. It's kind of a backwards way to do it but it works and I'm happy for now :-)

So you can get the tones to play from the card, you must put them in to the phone mem?
