Motorola V710
desktop charger and spare battery charging?
I am told that a desktop charger for the 720 will work with the 710. These chargers have a slot for charging a spare battery seperate from the phone. Will this work with 710 and 710 spare battery? Or, is the only way to charge batteries to have it attached to the phone?
Having a spare battery seems pointless if it must be attached to the phone for charging. I am replacing my a310 for which I bought a seperate charger that allows me to charge the batteries off of the phone, This is great because I leave my phone on and simply switch batteries when necessary. This leaves me with 2 fully charged batteries whenever I may need them. Can I do this with 710?
Also, posts have indicated that ringer settings automatically change wheneve...

The 720 charger will only work charging the phone, not the back (spare) slot. Motorola said a new desktop charger will be coming out for the 710.

Thanks! Any rumors as to when? Or is that like the mystical MPT 3.0 and BT upgrade?
