Camera cover came off!!! Seriously.
Yes, I did say the camera cover came off my v710. The silver ring around the camera for some reason just dropped off. Thank God it fell on my home office desk, or I might have never found it. I haven't even owned this phone for a week and for this to happen has me qustioning their quality control. C'mon Moto 😡 you gotta do better.
I love the phone and will exchange it for a new one but this will be it if it has issues as well.

That is if they have any in stock to exchange. My camera has never worked properly, brought it back to Verizon for a new one and they had none and had no idea when they would be getting any in. Good luck.

Funny you should say that. I have not been able to find a store in my area that has any in-stock.
I hope moto and verizon wern't actually running a beta test on us. Then after we find all the issues relase the way the phone should have been. Again I like the phone, just get the quality control fixed.

OK I'm happy again. Just went to a Verizon store and exchanged my phone for a brand new one. We'll see how it goes now 🙂

the same thing happened to my phone....i just returned it and said it fell off, verizon exchanged it for me...and yeah that is glue.

At first I thought it would snap back in place but realized after examining the piece, it looked like it was glued on. I could see the glue on the back of the ring.
I really should have taken photos for all to see.
Again the phone worked fine just the camera cover fell off.
Maybe Motorola plans to have switchable lens covers 😁 heh heh.

mine has stayed on just fine so far - my friend who use to work in the tech dept. told me the samsung's and LG's have this problem a lot. Cheap labor he said...

This morning the phone fell off my desk and onto my carpet. I picked it up and the same cover that fell off of yours was dented on mine...and it fell on a carpet.
As for things falling off, one of the bottom-side footpads on my HF800 speaker fell off and I haven't found it. I noticed it on only the 3rd time I had the case off.. Gonna swap it for a new on at CircCity...a $75 speaker ain't supposed to fall apart.
