Motorola V710
just brought v710 home- voice recognition issues and etc
so i just brought home the v710 after deliberating about whether it was worth it. too soon to tell, really, but i have some initial issues and would appreciate some help:
1) the voice recognition SUCKS. when i press on the little button and say name dial it dials the last phone number i dialed. i tried just saying "name" and it did the same thing. what's going on here?
my phonebook entries were transferred from my old v60 and they are all single names. should i return the phone?
2) what was the ring preprogrammed to when you received your phone? mine was moonlit haze which i found odd and began to worry that this was a returned phone.
3) any way for the screen on the outside to stay lit with time and date, etc.?

1. You may be talking to slow, talk normal speed and don't hold it close to your mouth during speakphone use.
2 that is the default ringer.
3 you have many options, best to read the manual.
4. yes, it is just a phone with a lil camera, not a pro camera.

when using the speaker phone I get redail instead of name dial without speaker I have no problems with voicedail
