Yes I used BitPim all the time with my VX4400. No this will NOT work with the v710 so try the LG fourms🙂

It works, but you can't make new files (use View Filesystem and Overwrite). I was able to successfully overwrite the two included MP3s with ones of my liking. There is no file size limit except for the available memory.

BitPim + v600 cable works

I tried BitPim, but only have the motorola USB cable. Don't have drivers, couldnt connect.

Don't you need a serial cable for BitPim??

Nope, mine's the Future Dial USB cable. The case says "Data Cable for V60, V120, T720", so I think I meant V60, not 600. I'm using their drivers, but you don't have to purchase their software. Some have said that you can get the software for free, but I wasn't able to.

I chose "Other CDMA Phone", but I don't think it matters. Baud rate is 19200 for the cable (it shows up as a serial port).

When I go into the settings within BitPim, Im set on 'other cdma phone' and my com port is auto - and it doesnt work. if i try to browse a different com port, I get a listing of available ones and inoperable ones. i have a motorola usb modem (and a 2nd instance of one) under 'inoperable ports'

what gives!!??
