MP3 ringers 96 vs 128 vs 160 vs 192 kbps?

I haven't gotten a Transflash yet and can only send myself 96 kbps files as of now.

For those of you w/ Transflash cards, do you notice any difference when encoding your MP3 ringers at the different higher quality kbps like 192 vs say 96?

Do the ringers lose quality when going through the VZWPIX site as an attachment to the phone?

I thought I read a post saying they definatly sounded better when going from your computer to the T-flash card to the phone directly...Any opinions?

Thanks in advance for any input...

I can definatly notice a difference between 128Kbps and 96Kbps. Most noticably is the high notes start getting chopped so it sounds muffeled. Best advice...
