keypad problems - curious to hear what Level 2 gets in for parts

As I said, I swapped phones today.

THe old one had a good keypad, the new one:

the * and # keys sound like they're hitting cellophane when you press them. The * key also presses the 7 key,but doesnt register the 7, and the # key presses the 9.

Level 2, if there is a new part, do the VZ shops do this, or is it a higher level(eg level 2)

I TOOK MY V710 BACK BECAUSE OF THE KEYPADS-THERE CHEAP THIS PHONE IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY

HOPE THE LG 8000 IS WORTH WAITING FOR... 😳

do you know what happens when you take back phone and had gotten new in two savings and 100.00 off for signing new contract?

You just have to tell them to notate your account; that you returned the phone and that you are still eligible for the $100 off whenever you decide to purchase another phone.

I would also call CS a few days later to verify that the notes are on your account. I had to go back and forth a little bit when I bought a previous phone but it was taken care of. Also make sure that your contract date is back to what it was before you bought the 710.

can i rescind the 2 yr contract and revert to my old one? I saved 100. by signing new contract

Yes, you can go back to your old contract date and save the $100 for a later date. When you return the phone it voids out everything. Just make sure they notate your account and Cus. Serv. can see the notes as well.
