too many cry babies
this phone is f-ing sweet, it seems everyone likes to cry about the littlest things about this phone..the keypad is slippery?!?! come on, that's a stretch, and since when do you need high performace aqua tred to make a phone call? the other gripes are pretty lame as well..the camera sucks, earpiece in the wrong place, send/receive reversed!?!?! the camera is awesome for a PHONE! the earpiece is fine if you actually MOVE IT to your ear and the send/receive reversed!??!! seriously, if you can't figure that one out you need a helmet not a cell phone b/c you are a RETARD!

I think its just a case of "bordom" and got nothing else to do but to troll. I wonder if some of these people even really have the 710. I was getting some wacko emails from some moto haters and dear lord, some people need to get a life, ITS A DAMN CELL PHONE! 🙄

and a damn GOOD cell phone at that..i've had mine since the release date and still haven't been able to put it down..and 0 (zero!) complaints

its obvious we got a bunch of trolls here. i got 6 emails from 6 different "names" yet they all cry about the same thing - the give away is that the person who emailed me under 6 different names spells the same word wrong and uses the same "tone" so I know its one person. I bet this person does not even own a v710, only has handled one in the store!
if you really hate this phone so much then so be it. return it asap and get yourself a different brand. why continue to complain about it here? we heard you the first 4 times. and to the person that emailed me that anyone who buys this phone has way too much money to wate well... 😁

OK, boys, here's some responses:
1) Isn't telling people to get life by posting it on a discussion board the definition of hypocrisy?
2) I have this phone, and for $300, it's a pile.
The case squeaks.
I don't like the keypad either.
The menus suck and so does the address book.
The min volume setting for speakerphone is still too high.
When inserting a 90-degree headset jack into the jack on top, it obscures the camera lens.
The Bluetooth implementation is what I wanted, and it's half-assed.
Yes, it does make calls -great. I didn't need to spend $300+ to do that. I was looking for more and I'll keep looking - I am returning it, thanks for the tip.
