Motorola V710
Need help with HS820/ v710
Just got the combo from vzw. Followed instructions and got the bt device discovery set up fine. Was able to make a couple of calls with the HS820 but after using my Etycom wired earpiece with the 710 once, the HS820 refuses to work.
Still listed as bt device in the v710 but all I get is one low tone or one hi tone when trying to connect with the HS820.
Can anybody suggest a fix? I'm about ready to return the HS820 as I'm at a loss.😢

I had a similar problem. After successfully pairing and using my HS820 a few times, then it stopped connecting. It would just stop at the point where it says "Seeking Motorola HS820". To get it working again I had to do a Master Reset (as someone on here suggested in an earlier thread) which sucks cause you loose the settings you changed. To do a Master Reset, hit the menu button -> Settings -> Initial Setup. Then scroll down to Master Reset (not Master Clear) and hit it. Like I said, You'll lose the settings you changed but I didn't lose any ringtones or wallpapers that I put on the phone.

I tried the Master Reset yesterday as a last attempt before asking for help here, thinking something might have "froze" but unfortuntely nothing changed (except my settings 😉 )
