MP3's skipping on transflash on on phone
Is anyone having problems with playing mp3's either directly on the transflash card or after copying them to the phone?
I've been trying to customize my ringtones, but having difficulty because when I play the mp3 the songs start skipping pretty bad. I'm using 128k bitrates and below... most being 64k because I’ve used ringtone ripper on some.
When attempting to copy my last batch, I even got an error message saying it wouldn't copy the files... and I have plenty of space left on my phone. Anyone have any suggestions on why this might be happening?

i had the same problem..i dont really understand what is happening but either the phone isnt reading the files right or whatever source we are using to write to the transflash is messing up...what i did is i copied the same file onto the transflash several times over once in the main transflash right next to the motorola folder..once in audio files..and once into ringtones...its a pain in the but but usually one of the files ends up being fine and thus i can get around the problem...best of luck

I actually did the exact same thing... copied multiple copies in different folders on the transflash. Like you said, for some songs I was able to find a half way decent copy. But others would skip the exact same way on all copies. This kind of implies that I'm making the copies at the wrong time. Perhaps I need to copy the files on the tranflash instead of on my hard drive, or vice versa. I gave up last night out of frustration before I could detect any real patterns.
I sure hope there will be a fix for this eventually... kinda defeats the purpose of having a transflash card.
