AOL Internet PDA combo
Today I tried to get the Gomadic to work with my Dell PDA and the v710...Frustration. The phone never was able to talk to the PDA. So far, I have tried every setting I can think og. There does not seem to be any setting on the phone to use it as a modem. Of course, any advice is welcome. What is personally frustrating to me is that I could get my old phone to work just fine ☹️

I'm going to answer my own question. I finally got the Dell pda and the v710 to work with each other using the Gomadic wire. The support at Gomadic was very helpful, but the support at Motorola...well, not as helpful. I used the WCE version of AOL on the PDA and the v710 as a modem...it worked. I may never use it and have now added the web 2 to the v710. It just seems a shame to have multiple ISPs
