I just sent my motorola V710 in on Thursday evening (as I posted on this weekend). I thought I was to receive a credit towards another phone but today in the mail I received a brand new Samsung A670. I am torn as to whether I should open it or send it back and chose my own phone. I have heard great things about this phone but have never owned a Samsung product.

I actually have been using it today...figured I had nothing to lose...and I love it. I hate that it doesn't have a speakerphone but I can live with that. It is a thousand times better built than the V710 I returned. More solid, tighter construction, better sound quality, etc. Since I do not use bluetooth, I think this is a good fit for me. Although I wonder why Samsung does not put speakerphones on their models.

maybe you'll like it . i didn't for several reasons. it didn't pick up well in rural areas.the scheduler is not as good as moto.phone book entry's only accept a very limited number of characters. you may want to play with it for a while. after all you have 15 days.right. 😁

Hmmmm....I wonder. Since this phone is technically a warranty replacement; do I get the 15 day grace period that I would receive if I had bought the phone? Does anyone know? 😕

My girlfriend just got that phone. It looks nice, and the construction is solid, but the menu stinks! Moto's may not be the most intuitive, but it is definitely powerful and better than the a670. For the money though, the a670 isn't a bad buy!

I ruled it out (before getting the V710) as it has no analog ... it's a digital signal or no signal. If you will only use it locally this may not matter to you.
