I don't know if you're refering to my post, but what I said was the external hands-free speaker Motorola sent me allows me to use my phone as a speakerphone (via the accessory) with the phone closed.
I'm not using the built-in speakerphone with it closed.

no....i am referring to the built-in speaker phone. can the phone be flashed or anything to make the internal speakerphone work with the flip closed similarly to the nextel iden series phones or similar to the motorola v300 for t-mobile.
call just disconnects if you have speakerphone on and then close the phone.

I know I can do it with my V60s, you have to have the speaker phone on, and then while it is still calling the number, before it says Connected to whoever, close the phone and you should see the call on the external screen, after the call connects, it switches to the call timer, at least for me.
But, remember this is on my V60s, I'm not saying it would work on a V710.
