1. Only two banner lines can show at one time and the Verizon Wireless banner takes precedence. This banner can be removed by the in-store tech support. Once that's done, your banner will be displayed.

2. TTY is the "Telecommunications Device for the Deaf."

3. DTMF tones are the tones used in telephones for tone dialing. Leave it set at the default setting.

4. Some chargers remain "live" when the car is turned off. If you leave your phone in the charger, it will turn off after a certain period of time. If it didn't turn off, and you forgot your phone, you could drain your car's batter.

Hope this helps 😁

The banner on my displays after a few seconds of the phone being opened. When you first open it, however, it shows Verizon Wireless. It was the same way with my LG VX6000. I think it is something Verizon forces on the phone ... I remember there was a way to remove it using BitPim on the 6000.

TTY I believe has something to do with a protocol for hearing disabled communications.

not sure on the DTMF ... I think they are the specific tones the key pad keys make.

Charge time is in the manual ... rather than have your phone charge indefinately in the car when you get out and turn the car off you can specify a time ... say 60 min. after that time the phone will turn off and stop charging. the V60 had that option also.
