ATTN: elec_engineer.... PHONE MIGHT HAVE CRASHED

So my phone had about 1 bar of battery life left when I powered it down to remove the transflash card. After I tried to power it back on, it just shows the "HELLOMOTO" welcome screen for about .5 seconds and then the screen goes black, and this whole process repeats over and over again. The only way to stop this is to remove the battery. After placing the battery back in, with the phone still being off, I tried plugging it into the charger. Well it still does the whole flickering thing.

I searched and saw that your friend had the same problem. How was he able to get the phone started again?

he took out the battery and then put it back in and charged it for a while. As far as I know.apparently that didn't work for the other guy though.from that same thread. Good luck

So when your friend was charging his phone, was it doing the flickering thing the whole time? Everytime I plug the phone into the charger, it tries booting up the phone and then goes into the flicking scenario.

I think his stoped trying to boot after removing the battery. try leaving it out for a few min before putting it back in.

Do you have a transflash card? This may be a culprit, especially if you removed it while the phone was still on. I removed the card from the phone and used the adapter to delete a file from the card (it was an MP3). The phone went nuts after I took it out (I didn't realize this because I wasn't looking at the phone when it happened. When I put the transflash card back it, it went even more crazy (turning itself on and off). I then restored the transflash card with ALL the files it had on it right before it went nuts (the files were all back, exactly the same) and it started to work again. I think the problem was that the phone was accessing the card when I pulled it out (even though I was not playing any MP3 files or looking at pixs.)

I always go to the home screen before removing the trans flash and never had any problems. my friend did not have transflash.

i think it don't have enough battery to power up. just leave it on the charger and it should be fine. 😁
