Two questions
Can you play all the mp3's on the transflash card without physically having to scroll to the next track?
Can you play mp3's through a bluetooth headset?

Just make a play list to play the music, and no it does not work with bluetooth yet, maybe with a firmware update.

Hi.

Are you playing the list w/the phone case opened or closed.

If the phone is closed, you CANNOT set it on vibrate or silent. It can only be on loud, soft or vibrate/ring.

hope this is the cause of your problem.

uhmmmm, they all the same bitrate, try and keep the file names under 20 chars (for simplicity sake) make absolutely sure they're actually mp3 file san dnot mp2 or mp4 or aac or anythign like that, just cause winapm/WMP will play them doesn't mean they're mpeg layer 3 audio... other than that maybe turn battery saver off? I'll futz around more on wednesday when I'm in the kiosk again.

battery save didn't work. still played 2 songs. i have tried deleting the song list and making another one with different songs, same result. sometimes it only plays one song.?????

there seems to be a problem with the mp3s. if you listen closely to the songs that the phone stops on you will 1 notice that there is still some fain noise coming out of the phone, and 2 when you play it individually there is still the same faint noise and the screen continues to say "playing" instead of "stopped" like it should say when it comes to the end of a song. This explains the stopping in the play list and that some mp3 ringtones do not repeat. Because the phone still thinks its playing when in fact it sounds like it is caught in a loop of like the last mili second. I'm not sure what causes this and will let you all know what I find out in further investigation.

P.S. please confirm my findings Thank you

I'd say incorrect length reported in the mp3 header, a simple re-encode should fix this, or find a program that "splits" mp3s and just split the last 1/32nd of a second off the end. 🙂
